Private Chef

About the role

Backseat Gaming is looking for a full‑time Private Chef to join its Malta studio. You will be responsible for creating high‑quality, nutritious meals for a small, dynamic team in a fast‑paced, creative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design daily and weekly menus that meet diverse dietary requirements and preferences.
• Source fresh, high‑quality ingredients and manage food inventory.
• Prepare, cook, and plate balanced meals and snacks for the team.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Control food budgets, track costs, and optimise inventory usage.
• Collaborate on special occasions, team events, and schedule changes to provide a seamless culinary experience.

Required profile

• Professional culinary training or equivalent experience as a Private Chef, Restaurant Chef, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of nutrition, dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, allergies, intolerances).
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to irregular hours.
• Experience in a private household, corporate setting, or hospitality environment is highly beneficial.
