Part-Time Sales Assistant - Sports Direct (Qormi)

About the role

Hudson Group, an international retailer and distributor active in sport and fashion wear, is recruiting a part-time Sales Assistant for its Sports Direct store in Qormi, Malta. The role reports to the Store Manager and covers the assigned store territory. It is advertised as indefinite contract.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with customers across all sales areas with a personalised approach
• Meet set sales targets
• Stock, replenish and clean sales areas
• Process payments of various kinds
• Advise customers on products suited to their needs using specialist product knowledge
• Package goods professionally and handle customer complaints effectively
• Maintain clean, tidy displays and monitor and update them
• Count and balance the cash register and receipts
• Stamp or attach price tags and check prices against the price list
• Check inventory regularly, report discrepancies to the line manager and inform staff of stock needs

Required profile

• Fluent English communication
• Good organisational skills
• Patient and well-controlled when dealing with clients
• Customer-focused and flexible, able to work shifts
