Manager – Financial Services Risk Management

About the role

EY is seeking a Manager to join its Financial Services Risk Management practice. You will work with leading banks, insurers, asset managers and capital market firms to design and implement risk frameworks that drive performance and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client engagements covering enterprise, credit, liquidity and compliance risk.
• Develop and enhance risk management frameworks, policies and procedures aligned with regulatory standards.
• Provide strategic advice on risk identification, measurement, mitigation and monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including regulatory compliance and quantitative services, to deliver integrated solutions.
• Identify new business opportunities, nurture client relationships and contribute to practice growth.
• Mentor junior team members and promote continuous learning.
• Stay up‑to‑date with evolving regulatory landscapes and emerging risks.
• Participate in thought‑leadership activities and industry forums.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Risk Management or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in risk management or regulatory consulting within financial services; banking exposure is a plus.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as CRD, MiFID II and AIFMD.
• Understanding of enterprise, credit, liquidity and compliance risk frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead risk projects and manage client relationships.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills for senior stakeholder engagement.
• Interest or experience in digital transformation’s impact on risk and regulatory functions.
