Loan Operations Quality Specialist

About the role

The Loan Operations Quality Specialist reviews loan applications, decisions and complaints to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. You will provide objective case assessments, support investigations and help improve loan‑operation processes.

Key responsibilities

• Review customer applications, decision logs and supporting documents for creditworthiness and affordability compliance.
• Analyse files for consistency, reasonableness and policy adherence, and prepare concise findings for management.
• Conduct quality‑assurance reviews across loan‑operations activities, monitor trends and flag recurring issues.
• Support operational audits, improvement projects and ad‑hoc analytical tasks.
• Collaborate with Customer Operations, Risk, Compliance and other teams to implement process and system changes.

Required profile

• Experience in lending, loan operations, complaints handling or quality assurance.
• Good understanding of creditworthiness and affordability assessments.
• Strong analytical, investigative and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Ability to review cases objectively and draw evidence‑based conclusions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive problem‑solving mindset and focus on continuous improvement.
