About the role
ADROIT is seeking a Junior Dispute Adjudicator to join its team in Malta. You will work at the forefront of digital justice, applying the EU Digital Services Act to resolve online disputes between users and platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Review and assess incoming complaints from users and online platforms.
- Apply relevant legal frameworks (DSA, ADR Directive) to reach fair, timely decisions.
- Draft written decisions and communicate outcomes to parties.
- Collaborate with senior adjudicators and cross‑functional teams to ensure consistency and quality.
- Maintain accurate case records in the ODR platform.
Required profile
- BA and/or MA/LLM in Law; bar qualification is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
- Valid work permit for the EU.
- Experience in dispute resolution, content moderation, trust & safety or ADR is advantageous.
- Fluency in additional EU languages (e.g., Dutch, French, German, Italian, Maltese, Portuguese, Spanish, Polish) is a plus.
