Junior Bar Waiter (Cruise Ship)

About the role

As a Junior Bar Waiter aboard MSC Cruises, you will help create a welcoming atmosphere in the ship's bars and lounges. Working closely with the senior Bar Waiter, you will ensure guests receive prompt, friendly service and enjoy expertly crafted drinks in a lively, professional setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Bar Waiter in serving cocktails, wines, spirits and other beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the bar area.
• Support stock control, replenishing supplies and monitoring inventory.
• Engage with guests, anticipate their needs and provide a warm, attentive experience.
• Comply with all food‑and‑beverage safety and sanitation regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Junior Bar Waiter, Bar Waiter or similar role on a cruise ship or high‑volume venue.
• Good knowledge of beverage service, including cocktails, wines and spirits.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while delivering excellent customer service.
• Experience with cleanliness, stock control and hygiene compliance.
• Passion for hospitality and a strong customer‑focused mindset.
