IT Internal Auditor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Internal Auditor to strengthen the bank’s technology governance, risk management and control environment. You will lead risk‑based audits, ensure regulatory compliance such as DORA, and deliver actionable recommendations to improve resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute risk‑based IT audit plans aligned with regulatory expectations and internal methodologies.
• Assess the adequacy of IT governance, risk management and internal control frameworks.
• Evaluate compliance of IT systems, processes and controls with internal policies, DORA and industry standards.
• Review controls over data integrity, system access, information security, business continuity and disaster recovery.
• Identify IT risks, control weaknesses and provide practical recommendations.
• Monitor remediation actions and ensure timely implementation.
• Prepare high‑quality audit documentation, reports and presentations for senior management and governance bodies.
• Maintain effective relationships with IT, Information Security and business stakeholders while preserving independence.
• Support investigations of IT‑related incidents or security breaches from an audit perspective.
• Assist the Head of Internal Audit in coordinating IT audit activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT audit, internal audit, IT risk management or information security; banking experience is a plus.
• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Banking or a related field.
• Relevant professional certification (e.g., CISA, CIA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP) preferred.
