About the role
The Inventory Accounting Officer supports day‑to‑day accounting for the Group's aircraft spare parts operations. Working closely with Procurement, Engineering, Logistics and Finance, the role ensures accurate financial transaction processing and reliable inventory records.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain bookkeeping for spare parts inventory, repairs, exchanges, sales and disposals.
- Process supplier invoices, monitor accounts payable and handle payments.
- Issue sales invoices, manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Perform inventory reconciliations between operational systems and accounting records.
- Record general ledger and intercompany entries.
- Assist with VAT, tax and statutory reporting.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, auditors, banks and internal stakeholders.
- Participate in process‑improvement initiatives and support annual audits.
Required profile
- Minimum A‑Level in Accounting.
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping or finance.
- Experience in inventory or spare‑parts accounting, preferably in aviation, maintenance or logistics.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with high attention to detail.
- Professional, dependable and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Effective team player with good organizational abilities.
