Hotel Technician (m/f/d) – New Opening

About the role

Join Ruby’s brand‑new hotel in Valletta as a Hotel Technician. You will be the behind‑the‑scenes expert ensuring that all technical systems run smoothly so guests enjoy a comfortable, safe stay.

Key responsibilities

• Perform small repairs, touch‑ups and routine maintenance (e.g., fixing taps, squeaky doors).
• Monitor and maintain all technical systems, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical installations.
• Coordinate external service providers and oversee facility‑management tasks.
• Carry out painting, sealing and other refurbishment work throughout the property.
• Collaborate with the corporate office in Munich and the housekeeping team to align maintenance activities.
• Conduct regular safety and maintenance checks in partnership with the Maintenance Manager.
• Order required materials in consultation with the Hotel Manager.

Required profile

• All‑round technical professional with solid craftsmanship.
• Hands‑on experience in hotel or similar facility maintenance.
• Apprenticeship or formal training in HVAC, plumbing or electrical work is a plus, but practical experience is valued most.
