FP&A Controller

About the role

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Controller will lead budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting activities for the company. Working closely with senior management, you will provide critical insights that shape the overall financial strategy. The position is based in Malta and does not require any on‑board duties.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure budgeting and forecasting processes align with business objectives and deliver a clear financial roadmap.
• Analyse financial performance and present insights to senior leadership for strategic decision‑making.
• Build and refine financial models to evaluate new projects, initiatives and potential investments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to guarantee accuracy and consistency of financial data.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics; certifications such as CFA, CPA or ACCA are highly desirable.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis or corporate finance within a fast‑paced environment.
• Proven track record leading budgeting and forecasting processes and delivering insights to senior management.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced financial modelling and analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with Power BI for data visualisation.
• Familiarity with ERP financial systems.
