Flight Operations Assistant

About the role

Valletta Airlines is seeking a motivated Flight Operations Assistant to support its growing aviation operations in Malta. You will work closely with crew members and the operations team to ensure safe, efficient, and on‑time flight execution.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and monitor flight schedules.
• Assist with arranging ground handling, airport slots, fuel, and overflight/landing permissions.
• Maintain and update the operations management systems.
• Communicate directly with crew members.
• Proactively manage resources during the operational period to achieve safe and punctual operations.

Required profile

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in aviation.
• Strong communication, cooperation, and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to analyze and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Well‑organized, able to work under pressure alone or in a team while maintaining a professional demeanor.
