Fleet Planning Manager

About the role

The Fleet Planning Manager will lead the commercial side of Vista’s fleet optimisation process, ensuring that aircraft allocation meets revenue goals, operational sustainability and premium client experience. Reporting to the Fleet Planning Director, the role works across Pricing, Sales, Operations, Crew Planning, Flight Approval and Maintenance to align fleet utilisation with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Flight Approval and Crew Planning to optimise the fleet schedule, balancing efficiency, revenue maximisation and crew rest requirements.
• Minimise ferry flights and ensure aircraft are in optimal condition for VVIP passengers.
• Evaluate and approve Non‑Guaranteed Service requests, safeguarding profitability by meeting Minimum Diluted Yield thresholds.
• Analyse global scheduling patterns, identify capacity trends and proactively escalates insights to senior fleet planners.
• Suggest operational improvements to increase aircraft deliveries, utilisation and overall scheduling efficiency.
• Maintain strategic fleet flexibility for last‑minute recoveries, recommending off‑fleeting when necessary and protecting recovery‑dedicated aircraft.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fleet planning, aircraft scheduling or related aviation operations.
• Strong analytical and strategic decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to balance commercial objectives with operational sustainability and customer experience.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams such as Pricing, Sales, Operations, Maintenance and Crew Planning.
