Entertainment Host (Cruise Ship)

About the role

The Entertainment Host will enrich the guest experience on board by planning, presenting and leading a daily programme of entertainment, activities and rituals. This role creates a memorable, luxury‑focused atmosphere that supports Explora Journeys’ vision of transformative ocean travel.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests and act as a genuine brand ambassador throughout the voyage.
• Organise and host a varied daytime and evening entertainment schedule, including sport, fitness, games, quizzes and shows in lounges, on deck, at ports and ashore.
• Learn scripting and staging for assigned productions and experiences.
• Collaborate with the Experience Manager and Assistant Experience Manager to develop new activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience hosting activities and events, preferably in luxury or premium hospitality or cruise environments.
• Charismatic public‑speaking and hosting abilities that capture guests’ attention.
• Computer literacy with basic knowledge of Windows‑based programs.
• Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus.
