Electrical Tradesperson

About the role

2coms is looking for a skilled Electrical Tradesperson to join its engineering and building services team in Malta. The successful candidate will install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and commission electrical and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems across industrial and commercial facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Install new electrical and ELV systems according to project specifications and industry standards.
• Carry out electrical installation, testing, servicing and commissioning of industrial lighting and power systems.
• Diagnose faults and repair electrical building services and associated equipment.
• Upgrade, modify and improve electrical and control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, distribution boards, electric motors, pumps and other industrial and commercial electrical equipment.
• Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and quality standards, complete maintenance reports and support commissioning and performance testing.

Required profile

• 2 years of experience in electrical and/or ELV installation and maintenance.
• Minimum Electrical Wireman Licence A or equivalent certification.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, controls and building services installations.
• Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics; good fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Professional, proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
