Corporate Controller

About the role

The Corporate Controller will lead the accounting function for a multinational organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and compliance across Western European markets. This senior position supports strategic decision‑making by delivering timely and reliable financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and month‑/year‑end close.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS, local GAAP, and US GAAP where applicable.
• Design, implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and cash‑flow management.
• Coordinate external audits, tax filings and regulatory reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
• Supervise and develop the accounting team and partner with FP&A, legal and operations on cross‑functional initiatives.
• Evaluate and improve accounting systems, processes and ERP tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, ACCA or equivalent preferred.
• 8+ years progressive accounting/finance experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and multi‑entity or multi‑currency consolidation.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite or Oracle.
• Fluent English; additional languages a plus.
