Commercial Manager – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

AG Group is seeking a commercially driven Commercial Manager to lead the pursuit and delivery of large‑scale infrastructure projects across Malta and international markets. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape bid strategies, manage risk and help position the company as a leading main contractor for contracts up to €100 million.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of competitive tenders and proposals for high‑voltage, utility, water, environmental and MEP projects.
• Analyse project risks, pricing strategies and contractual obligations.
• Develop project budgets, cost plans and commercial forecasts.
• Review tender documentation, specifications and contract conditions.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and project teams throughout the bid process.
• Support negotiations with clients, consultants, partners and subcontractors.
• Identify opportunities to maximise profitability and commercial advantage.
• Contribute to business growth strategies and market expansion initiatives.
• Support the transition of awarded projects into delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Strong technical and engineering understanding.
• Proven experience in estimating, commercial management, quantity surveying, tendering or project commercial functions.
• Excellent understanding of contracts, procurement, cost management and project risk.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex tenders simultaneously.
