Collections / Customer Service Officer (Fluent in Danish)

About the role

Novum Bank is seeking a Collections / Customer Service Officer who is fluent in Danish to join its Malta office. Reporting to the Danish Team Leader, the role combines customer support, sales, and coordination with the collections department to ensure a seamless experience for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate information on the bank’s products, services and payment options.
• Proactively generate new sales following defined strategies.
• Handle customer inquiries via phone, live chat, email and SMS.
• Collaborate with payments and collections teams to ensure transparent interactions.
• Assist with onboarding, document verification and other customer requests.
• Contribute to sales reporting, training of new team members and documentation of operational procedures.
• Suggest improvements to processes and undertake ad‑hoc tasks assigned by the Head of New Markets.

Required profile

• Fluent in written and spoken Danish and English.
• Experience in customer service, sales of financial products and client onboarding.
• Strong communication skills, detail‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Team‑player mindset with a focus on delivering excellent customer experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
