Clinical Governance & Clinical Support Doctor

About the role

We are seeking a senior Clinical Governance & Clinical Support Doctor to provide high‑level clinical expertise across our international operations. The role involves supporting medical teams in remote sites, ensuring that all services meet the highest standards of quality, safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead clinical governance activities across global operations.
• Conduct clinical interviews, staff induction, mentoring and training.
• Set, monitor and audit clinical standards for medical services.
• Review protocols, infection‑control procedures and patient‑care standards.
• Oversee monthly clinical reporting, equipment and inventory checks.
• Identify training needs and support CPD/CME development.
• Provide clinical guidance on complex cases and support project mobilisation.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Training, Finance and Commercial teams.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for senior management and the Board.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and project teams.

Required profile

• Emergency Physician, Anaesthetist, Intensivist or equivalent specialist.
• Current medical registration in a European jurisdiction.
• Minimum 7 years post‑graduation experience in an acute clinical setting.
• At least 2 years experience in a remote or assistance platform.
• Minimum 3 years experience managing staff in a similar capacity.
• Strong background in clinical governance, auditing and quality management.
• Experience preparing board‑level reports in English.
• On‑call availability including nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Willingness to travel to international sites as required.
• Advanced English communication skills; French, Arabic or Portuguese preferred.
