Client Accountant – Tax Business Process Solutions

About the role

Deloitte’s Tax Business Process Solutions (BPS) team is looking for a qualified or semi‑qualified accountant to join as a Client Accountant. You will support a portfolio of international clients by maintaining their accounting records and delivering accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update clients’ accounting ledgers.
• Prepare periodic management accounts and ad‑hoc reporting.
• Draft statutory financial statements in accordance with GAAP SME or IFRS.
• Liaise with auditors and other service providers as required.
• Collaborate with specialist VAT and Direct Tax teams on accounting impacts.
• Assist in drafting accounting reports and conducting research.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant or final‑year trainee with 1‑2 years of relevant experience (audit experience acceptable).
• Strong command of English and excellent communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with accounting software/ERP systems, preferably Dynamics 365 Business Central.
