Chef de Partie – Mediterranean Cuisine (Luxury Hotel)

About the role

Satāya is recruiting for a prominent luxury hotel group to join the opening team of a new Mediterranean restaurant in Malta. As a Chef de Partie you will own a kitchen section, support both the main dining room and a rooftop sun‑lounger service, and work alongside an experienced culinary leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your designated kitchen section, ensuring consistent quality, portioning and presentation.
• Prepare dishes according to established Mediterranean recipes and brand standards.
• Assist in menu development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative ideas.
• Maintain mise en place, cleanliness and strict HACCP/food‑safety compliance.
• Support stock rotation, inventory control and waste minimisation.
• Mentor junior Commis chefs and collaborate with the wider brigade for smooth service.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a luxury hotel, premium restaurant or comparable high‑quality dining environment.
• Strong technical cooking skills in Mediterranean cuisine; Greek cuisine experience is a plus.
• Excellent organisational abilities and calmness under pressure.
• EU passport or proven right to work in the EU.
• Familiarity with fast‑paced, high‑volume service.
