Buffet Attendant

About the role

As a Buffet Attendant aboard our cruise line, you will play a key part in delivering an exceptional dining experience for guests. You will ensure the buffet area runs smoothly, stays clean, and presents food at its best while providing friendly, efficient service.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the buffet area throughout the shift.
• Arrange and replenish food items to keep the display attractive and fully stocked.
• Monitor food temperatures and presentation standards in line with safety regulations.
• Assist guests with inquiries, portioning, and special requests.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Buffet Attendant or in a similar fast‑paced food service role.
• Previous work on an international cruise ship or in a busy restaurant/cafeteria is preferred.
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining high customer service standards.
• Positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.

• Knowledge of food safety standards.
• Understanding of sanitation practices.
