Bricklayer (Mason)

About the role

A skilled and dependable Bricklayer (Mason) is sought to join a construction team in Malta. The successful candidate lays bricks, concrete blocks and other masonry materials to build and repair walls, foundations, partitions and other structures in line with project specifications and safety standards. The role calls for accuracy, craftsmanship and teamwork.

Key responsibilities

• Measure, mark and level work areas to ensure accurate construction.
• Construct and repair walls, foundations, partitions, pavements and other masonry structures.
• Lift, carry and place prepared blocks.
• Mix cement and mortar on the job site as needed.
• Cut and shape bricks, blocks and other materials with hand and power tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Bricklayer or Mason in the construction industry.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual work outdoors.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures on construction sites.
• Good command of English.

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical plans.
• Good knowledge of masonry techniques, materials and construction methods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.

What we offer

• Gross monthly salary of 1,733 to 2,252 euros (1.93 to 2.50 lakh INR), depending on experience, qualifications and licence categories.
