Audit Senior

About the role

KPMG Malta is seeking an Audit Senior to join its Audit Function. You will work with a skilled team on a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries, developing technical knowledge and leadership skills within a global professional services firm.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in specialised audit teams for entities in sectors such as financial institutions, gaming and private enterprises.
• Provide training to junior staff on International Standards on Auditing (ISA), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and global audit methodologies.
• Deliver training on KPMG‑specific audit software tools.
• Contribute to focus teams that specialise in particular accounting and auditing areas.
• Collaborate with KPMG professionals locally and across the global network to support audit engagements.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant holding CPA, ACCA, CA or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of external audit experience within a Big 4 audit firm.
• Strong eye for detail and excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Professionalism, integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
• Proactive, career‑driven team player with strong organisational and time‑management abilities and a commitment to continuous professional development.
