Audit Manager

About the role

RSM Malta is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of local and international clients. You will manage audit teams, ensure compliance with professional standards, and contribute to the growth of the audit practice within a supportive, international network.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of audit and assurance engagements across various industries.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise audit assignments from inception to completion.
• Review audit files and financial statements for compliance with IFRS, ISA and other regulations.
• Lead, coach, and develop senior and junior audit team members.
• Maintain and strengthen client relationships through high‑quality service delivery.
• Identify risks and provide practical recommendations to clients.
• Monitor engagement budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality control procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Support business development initiatives and contribute to practice growth.

Required profile

• ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of external audit experience, including supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
