Assistant Youth Staff Manager

About the role

As an Assistant Youth Staff Manager you will support the Youth Staff Manager in delivering high‑quality entertainment programmes for guests aged 3‑17 aboard our cruise ships. You will help create a safe, fun and educational environment that allows families to relax while children enjoy engaging activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating and executing daily youth‑focused activities, themed events and workshops.
• Supervise and mentor a team of youth entertainers, ensuring consistent service standards.
• Monitor safety procedures and child‑supervision protocols for all programmes.
• Interact with guests to gather feedback and adapt activities to diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Maintain activity schedules, inventory of equipment and documentation required for regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a manager or assistant manager in a child‑focused entertainment setting, preferably on a cruise ship.
• Relevant qualifications in child development, education, recreation or entertainment.
• Certification to supervise children aged 3 and above.
• Fluency in English and at least one additional European language.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse guests and staff.
