Assistant Store Manager - Calvin Klein Mercury

About the role

Hudson is looking for an Assistant Store Manager for its Calvin Klein Mercury store in Malta. The role supports the store manager in the day-to-day running of the retail store, covering general tasks such as supervision, communication and execution of store duties so that the store operates efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, train and motivate staff to perform at their best
• Help the store manager plan and implement strategies to attract customers
• Coordinate daily customer service operations such as sales, orders and payments
• Track weekly, monthly and annual objectives
• Monitor and maintain store inventory
• Evaluate employee performance and identify hiring and training needs
• Coach and support new and existing sales associates
• Suggest sales techniques and ideas with the team to increase revenue
• Communicate with clients, evaluate consumer behaviour and adjust product positioning
• Produce reports and analyse retail data
• Ensure employees follow company policies and act as a store representative
• Maintain a high standard of work and service

Required profile

• At least 2 years' experience in a retail store, ideally in a supervisory or leadership role
• Familiarity with financial and customer service principles
• Leadership, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, problem-solving attitude and flexibility to work in shifts

Required skills

• Able to create and analyse reports, spreadsheets and sales statistics
• Proficiency in MS Office
