Assistant Retail Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Retail Manager to support the Store Manager in delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving sales at our flagship jewellery store. The role combines operational oversight, team development and visual merchandising to ensure the brand’s story is consistently communicated.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in daily store operations, ensuring an efficient, customer‑focused environment.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase foot traffic, expand the customer base and optimise profitability.
• Train, motivate and mentor sales staff, providing constructive feedback to help the team meet sales targets.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through product knowledge, attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere.
• Oversee visual merchandising, including window displays, table layouts and focal points, in line with brand guidelines.
• Monitor the impact of visual changes on sales and share insights for continuous improvement.
• Handle administrative tasks, policy compliance and day‑to‑day issues such as staff or customer queries.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of retail experience in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
• Strong emotional intelligence, positive attitude and ability to inspire and guide a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Passion for jewellery and the brand’s empowerment narrative.
