Storekeeper – Hospitality Operations

About the role

We are seeking an organised and reliable Storekeeper to join the Stores team at db Hotels & Resorts. The role involves receiving, storing and issuing goods across the hotel, ensuring accurate stock control and supporting all departments.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and verify deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Store goods safely, applying FIFO rotation and appropriate storage conditions.
• Issue stock to departments according to requisitions and maintain accurate movement records.
• Conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies to the Stores/Purchasing Manager.
• Monitor stock levels and flag low stock or reorder needs promptly.
• Maintain clean, organised store areas compliant with health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Keep accurate records in the inventory management system.
• Liaise with suppliers, department heads and the Purchasing team regarding deliveries, shortages or discrepancies.
• Handle documentation for all incoming and outgoing goods.
• Assist with general warehouse duties such as loading, unloading and organising stock.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar warehouse/inventory role, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong numerical and organisational abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and handle physical lifting tasks.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required.
• Basic English communication skills.
