Senior Tax Associate – Technology & Automation

About the role

Join Gartner’s Global Tax & Business Services team to modernize the tax function using cutting‑edge technology. You will help design, test and implement solutions that streamline tax planning, reporting and risk management across more than 100 countries.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement tax technology solutions, including dashboards, workflows and models using Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate and Alteryx.
• Analyze tax data, create visualisations and summaries to support trend monitoring and process improvement.
• Apply AI tools such as MS365 Copilot and Google Notebook LM for research, documentation and automation testing.
• Collaborate with tax, IT, finance and external consultants to gather requirements, track progress and support system integrations.
• Maintain key platforms (OneSource Tax Provision, CorpTax, Orbitax, SharePoint) by monitoring data quality and resolving user issues.
• Prepare documentation, user guides and training materials to drive adoption of tax technology tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Data Analytics, Accounting, Computer Science or related field.
• 2‑4 years of tax experience, preferably in public accounting or a US multinational environment.
• Knowledge of U.S. international tax principles and ASC 740 is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem‑solving abilities with the capacity to meet deadlines.
