Senior Sales Area Manager

About the role

Ruby is a fast‑growing hospitality group that blends contemporary design with affordable luxury. We are looking for a Senior Sales Area Manager to lead international sales outside our hotel destinations, turn market insights into commercial results and inspire a multicultural team of Sales Executives and Managers.

Key responsibilities

• Own Ruby’s international sales success and identify opportunities across markets.
• Lead, motivate and develop an international sales team, fostering a unified team spirit across locations.
• Drive market entries, pre‑openings and strategic commercial projects to support Ruby’s growth.
• Collaborate with Revenue, Marketing, Operations and other functions to deliver a seamless customer experience.
• Challenge existing processes, think entrepreneurially and help shape Ruby’s future.

Required profile

• Completed training in hospitality or a degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a comparable field.
• At least 3 years of experience in sales or account management with proven team‑leadership experience.
• Passion for hospitality, people and building meaningful business relationships.
• Strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to turn ideas into results.
• Comfortable working across international markets, cultures and stakeholder groups.
• Data‑driven mindset and curiosity to challenge the status‑quo.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
