Senior Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex initiatives, primarily focused on SharePoint architecture and project coordination. The role operates in a hybrid model, with most work onsite in Malta and occasional remote days.

Key responsibilities

• Define and document project goals, deliverables, tasks, and deadlines.
• Create detailed project plans covering schedule, resources, and milestones.
• Assign tasks and resources based on team members' skills and project needs.
• Monitor resource usage and ensure efficient utilization.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage changes in scope, schedule, or resources.
• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing status updates and gathering feedback.
• Facilitate collaboration, resolve conflicts, and address issues that impede progress.
• Prepare and present status reports to senior management.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as required.
• Track and respond to tickets and service requests in a service‑desk environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale IT projects, preferably using recognized methodologies.
• Strong ability to work independently and lead cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• SharePoint architecture (on‑premises and online).
• Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) or similar project‑management tools.
• Service‑desk ticketing systems.
