Senior Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer

About the role

The Senior Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer will lead the design, implementation and maintenance of our on‑premises and Azure environments. You will ensure that our infrastructure remains secure, resilient and aligned with business objectives while supporting hybrid cloud initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage enterprise infrastructure across on‑premises data centres and Microsoft Azure.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, Windows Server, Linux, VMware and core networking components.
• Guarantee availability, security, performance and reliability of all infrastructure services.
• Lead infrastructure improvement, cloud‑adoption and technology modernisation projects.
• Support hybrid cloud environments and collaborate with development teams on infrastructure solutions.
• Apply security best practices, including patch management, vulnerability remediation and disaster‑recovery planning.
• Act as the senior escalation point for complex infrastructure incidents.
• Produce technical documentation and coordinate with internal teams and third‑party vendors.

Required profile

• Proven experience in infrastructure, systems or cloud engineering within an enterprise setting.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Active Directory.
• Experience administering Windows Server, Linux, VMware and enterprise networking.
• Track record of delivering infrastructure projects and modernising environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
