Sales Area Manager – International Hospitality

About the role

Ruby is looking for a dynamic Sales Area Manager to drive international sales growth for its fast‑growing hospitality portfolio. You will lead a multicultural team, shape market entry strategies and turn insights into commercial results across Europe and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Own Ruby’s international sales performance outside existing hotel destinations.
• Identify market opportunities, translate insights into revenue‑generating actions.
• Empower Sales Executives and Managers to build strong partnerships and attract new clients.
• Lead, motivate and develop an international sales team, fostering a unified spirit across locations.
• Drive market entries, pre‑openings and strategic commercial projects to support growth.
• Collaborate closely with Revenue, Marketing, Operations and other functions for a seamless customer experience.
• Challenge existing processes, think entrepreneurially and help shape Ruby’s future.

Required profile

• Completed training in hospitality or a degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a comparable field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales or Account Management with proven team‑leadership.
• Passion for hospitality, people and building meaningful business relationships.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate teams toward ambitious goals.
• Strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with a data‑driven approach.
• Comfortable working across international markets, cultures and stakeholder groups.
• Fluent in English; good German language skills are a plus.
