Restaurant Utility – Support Dining Operations

About the role

The Restaurant Utility supports the Waiter and the overall dining service across all food outlets. You will help prepare, set‑up and break down dining venues, maintain cleanliness, and ensure a smooth guest experience in both Guest Restaurants and the Team Restaurant.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, set‑up and breakdown of dining venues before and after each meal period.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization and sanitation of dining areas, service stations, pantries, tables, chairs, fixtures and equipment.
• Replenish cutlery, crockery, glassware, condiments, beverages and other operational supplies.
• Support food and beverage service, table maintenance and guest flow management during meal periods.
• Clear, clean and reset tables promptly and efficiently.
• Transport food, beverages and service equipment between the galley and dining venues following food safety procedures.
• Stock, organize and maintain service stations throughout service periods.
• Assist with special events, functions and operational activities.
• Monitor condition of furniture, equipment and service utensils and report deficiencies.
• Ensure cleaning schedules, sanitation requirements and public health standards are consistently met.
• Participate in waste segregation, recycling and environmental compliance.
• Help with inventory counts and organization of supplies, equipment and consumables.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience in a 5‑star hotel or restaurant environment (excluding training periods) or one satisfactory contract in a similar role.
• High school graduation.
• Basic knowledge of food safety principles.
• Proven ability to work in a high‑volume, high‑class restaurant setting.
• Strong communication skills with guests of diverse ages and nationalities.
• Capability to step in for a Waiter when needed.
• Ability to collaborate harmoniously with colleagues from varied backgrounds.
