Quantity Surveyor – MEP

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (MEP) to join our Cost Management team. The role involves managing commercial and contractual aspects of mechanical, electrical and plumbing packages across high‑profile construction projects, providing cost advice, procurement support and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare MEP cost estimates, budgets, feasibility studies and cost plans.
• Review designs and specifications to identify cost implications and value‑engineering opportunities.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and measurement exercises in line with industry standards.
• Monitor project costs, forecast expenditures and manage tender documentation and procurement schedules.
• Administer construction contracts, evaluate variations, change orders and prepare interim valuations and payment certificates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, contractors and clients, attending meetings and providing commercial recommendations.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Building Services Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in quantity surveying with significant exposure to MEP systems.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations.
• Experience preparing BOQs, cost plans, tender documents and financial reports.
• Sound knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods and contract administration.
• Experience on hospitality, commercial, residential or mixed‑use developments is an asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Use of industry‑standard quantity surveying software.
