Production Officer – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

About the role

We are recruiting a Production Officer to join an established pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation in Malta. The role offers a graduate with GMP experience the chance to develop across production, quality and validation functions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and update SOPs, Master Batch Records, logbooks and other production documentation.
• Review executed batch records and support deviations, CAPAs, change controls and investigations.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with GMP, quality systems and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review documentation for cleaning, equipment and process validation, and assist with qualification activities.
• Work with Production and Quality teams to resolve technical and manufacturing issues and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science or a related STEM discipline.
• Previous experience in a GMP‑regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to work both independently and within a cross‑functional team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of GMP compliance, cleaning validation and equipment/process qualification.
