Multimedia Host – Digital Signage & Content Production

About the role

The Multimedia Host plans, produces, broadcasts and publishes digital messages and media across multiple platforms to support entertainment operations on Explora Journeys cruises.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and schedule digital signage, mobile and in‑room TV content, maintaining the content library and ensuring quality.
• Produce graphics, photos and videos in line with brand guidelines and handle publishing workflows for real‑time or pre‑scheduled releases.
• Assist the Technical Entertainment and Broadcast Manager with TV/IPTV scheduling, content publishing and technical troubleshooting.
• Conduct at least two photography workshops per sailing, covering equipment use and editing techniques.
• Maintain the Interactive Entertainment Explora Journeys application, databases and logs, and support safety and departmental events.

Required profile

• Proficiency in digital media production and editing, with experience in digital signage and video broadcast systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS environments.
• Strong command of English; additional European languages are advantageous.
• Computer literacy with basic Windows‑based programs and knowledge of IT infrastructure and networking.

Required skills

• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, etc.).
• Knowledge of photo and video formats, codecs, containers and video editing principles such as colour grading and composition.
• Audio editing skills for noise removal, level adjustment and synchronization.
• Understanding of IT networking and infrastructure.
