Learning & Development Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to support the delivery of our L&D strategy and help colleagues develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to succeed. You will work closely with departmental leaders and the HR team to coordinate learning initiatives and foster a culture of continuous growth.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation of the L&D strategy aligned with business priorities and employee development needs.
• Conduct training needs analysis with department heads and recommend suitable solutions.
• Coordinate internal and external training programmes, ensuring effective planning, communication, delivery, and record‑keeping.
• Maintain the learning management system, keeping course information and completion records up to date.
• Facilitate and deliver training sessions, including induction, soft‑skills, compliance and other development programmes.
• Support onboarding and induction programmes to provide a consistent introduction for new hires.
• Monitor training compliance and follow up with departments to meet mandatory learning requirements.
• Collect feedback, evaluate training effectiveness and prepare regular L&D reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience in learning and development, training, HR or a related field.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple learning activities.
• Confident communication and presentation abilities, able to engage colleagues at all levels.
• Proactive, collaborative approach and a passion for employee development.

Required skills

• Experience using learning management systems and digital learning platforms.
• Ability to maintain accurate training records and documentation.
