Insurance Officer – Client Services

About the role

Are you customer‑focused, organised and interested in building your career within insurance broking? Elmo Insurance Brokers Ltd. is a growing brokerage specialising in personal and commercial insurance solutions, with a focus on niche markets and tailored client service. We’re looking for an Insurance Officer to join our team and support the day‑to‑day servicing of our clients, gaining exposure to a variety of insurance products and developing technical and commercial knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Handle client queries and provide clear information on insurance products and services.
• Prepare and process quotations, policies, renewals and other insurance documentation.
• Liaise with clients, insurers and other stakeholders to ensure an efficient and professional service.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships, supporting retention and cross‑selling opportunities.
• Support the identification and development of new business opportunities.
• Ensure client records and documentation are accurate, complete and handled in line with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience within insurance, insurance broking or a related financial services environment would be considered an asset.
• A strong sense of responsibility, accountability and ownership.
• Excellent customer service and relationship‑building skills.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A willingness to learn and develop within the insurance broking field.
• Excellent communication skills in both Maltese and English.
