Head of Finance (Internal Finance Manager)

About the role

The Malta office of a leisure services client is looking for an internal Finance Manager to lead its finance function. Based in central Malta, the role offers considerable autonomy and the opportunity to shape financial processes within a dynamic sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month‑end closing and operational accounting activities.
• Prepare, analyse and present financial reports to senior management.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.
• Handle financial regulatory returns in line with the local Maltese regulatory regime.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Minimum two years of experience in a similar finance role.
• Proven experience with month‑end processes, financial reporting and audit support.
