Group Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Group Finance Manager to lead the finance function across multiple entities within a regulated financial services group. This role offers the chance to own financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and operational finance in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the accounting function, ensuring robust controls and efficient operations.
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable and general ledger activities.
• Execute daily bank reconciliations and month‑end close processes.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements.
• Produce consolidated financial reports for the group.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Provide financial analyses to support strategic decisions and cash‑flow management.
• Coordinate the annual audit and liaise with external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting, tax obligations and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting policies.
• Collaborate with finance teams across the group to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Present financial information to senior management and directors.

Required profile

• Fully qualified ACCA, ACA or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in a finance management role.
• Strong experience preparing management accounts and financial statements.
• Proven ability in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Experience with consolidated reporting across multiple entities.
• Background in financial services, payments, banking or another regulated industry is a plus.
• Excellent analytical attention to detail and independent work capability.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
