Floor Supervisor – Cruise Ship Housekeeping

About the role

As a Floor Supervisor on board our cruise vessel, you will lead the housekeeping team responsible for maintaining the highest standards of comfort, cleanliness and presentation across guest rooms, corridors and service areas. Your leadership and attention to detail will ensure every guest enjoys a luxurious and memorable stay.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations on an assigned floor, coordinating Cabin Attendants and support staff.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, corridors and public areas to verify compliance with sanitation and quality standards.
• Promptly resolve maintenance issues and guest requests, ensuring swift and courteous service.
• Maintain housekeeping inventories, track supplies and coordinate with other departments for seamless operations.
• Train, motivate and evaluate team members, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Floor Supervisor or similar role on a cruise ship or in a luxury hospitality environment.
• Extensive knowledge of housekeeping procedures, industry standards and high‑level service expectations.
• Strong leadership abilities with a track record of managing diverse teams.
• Experience conducting room inspections and ensuring strict compliance with hygiene standards.
• Hands‑on experience handling guest requests and maintaining service excellence.
