About the role
DOA21 Ltd, an EASA‑approved Design Organisation based in Malta, is looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to support aircraft modification and certification projects.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare electrical and avionics design data, including wiring designs, parts lists and interface drawings.
- Support EWIS evaluations, electrical load analysis and compliance documentation such as design reports, test plans and certification reports.
- Collaborate with compliance engineers, suppliers, customers and regulatory authorities to ensure safe, compliant solutions.
Required profile
- Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical, Aerospace or Aircraft Engineering.
- Previous electrical/avionics design experience in aviation or a regulated engineering environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret aircraft manuals, drawings and specifications.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor or equivalent).
- Knowledge of aircraft electrical installations, wiring routing and EWIS principles.
- Experience producing engineering drawings and technical design documentation.
