Development Team Lead

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Development Team Lead to join our client’s engineering group. In this role you will guide a high‑performing team through the full software development lifecycle, ensuring delivery of complex platforms in a fast‑moving, regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and train the development team, conducting quarterly reviews and setting goals.
• Oversee planning, design, implementation and deployment of assigned projects, translating Product Owner and CTO requirements into actionable plans.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owner, CTO and other stakeholders to align priorities, timelines and deliverables.
• Facilitate clear communication within the team and across departments to guarantee smooth execution.
• Identify, escalate and resolve delivery risks, blockers and team issues while maintaining a positive work environment.
• Ensure adherence to development processes, best practices and coding standards.
• Drive continuous improvement of workflows, tools and overall team effectiveness.
• Prepare and present weekly delivery status and risk reports to the CTO.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands‑on software development on complex platforms (e.g., DSPs, tracking or attribution systems).
• 5+ years of people‑management experience, including formal leadership training.
• Proven ability to manage senior engineers in high‑availability, multi‑system environments.
• Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle and Agile delivery frameworks.
• Experience working with clear separation between Product Ownership, Architecture, DevOps and Development.
• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
