Corporate Services Senior Accountant

About the role

Join Alter Domus Malta’s Corporate Services Department as a Senior Accountant. You will be responsible for a diversified portfolio of local and foreign clients, delivering high‑quality accounting, reporting and tax services in line with the firm’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, responding to their needs and ensuring service quality.
• Own day‑to‑day accounting, administration and financial reporting for a portfolio of clients.
• Prepare and review management accounts and annual financial statements, liaising with auditors as required.
• Prepare and review tax returns, VAT returns and regulatory reports.
• Support transaction work such as set‑ups, liquidations, acquisitions, disposals and funding arrangements.
• Supervise and coach junior accountants, delegating work and providing training.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with at least 2 years of post‑qualification experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive ‘can‑do’ attitude and desire for career growth.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Experience preparing financial statements under GAPSE.
• Knowledge of IFRS as adopted by the EU.
