CAMO Engineer

About the role

AirX, an international air chartering company with a diverse worldwide fleet, is looking for a CAMO Engineer to join its CAMO department in Malta, reporting directly to the Nominated Person Continuing Airworthiness (NPCA). The role plans and coordinates all maintenance activities and keeps the aircraft airworthy.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain and update maintenance data and maintain aircraft records
• Liaise with maintenance and maintenance management subcontractors
• Prepare aircraft modification and repair documents
• Schedule and prepare short-term maintenance events, including issuing work orders
• Plan line maintenance on time and generate work packs for AOG defects and non-grounding defects
• Ensure scheduled and unscheduled maintenance is completed on time and information is kept up to date in the systems
• Monitor work order and event due dates and fix quality audit non-compliances before they become overdue
• Cooperate with MRO personnel and internal teams such as Logistics and Purchasing
• Provide technical assistance for several aircraft types

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in a technical aviation sector (maintenance technician or continuing airworthiness management), or a graduate or diploma in aeronautical engineering
• Good command of written and spoken English

Required skills

• Navigating airworthiness IT systems
• Computer literacy, specifically MS Office
• Experience with Traxxall is an advantage
