Branch Manager – Insurance

About the role

Elmo Insurance is seeking an experienced insurance professional to lead one of its branches in Malta. The Branch Manager will be responsible for day‑to‑day operations, delivering personalised service, and driving business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of the day‑to‑day running and overall performance of the branch.
• Deliver an excellent and personalised service, advising customers on insurance products and solutions that meet their needs.
• Drive sales and business growth by identifying new opportunities and promoting and cross‑selling the Company’s products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while actively developing new business.
• Issue policies, quotations and renewals, and support customers throughout the claims process.
• Ensure all documentation and branch activities are handled accurately and in line with regulatory requirements, internal procedures and quality standards.
• Monitor branch performance and contribute to sales forecasts and business planning.

Required profile

• Recognised insurance qualification.
• Minimum five years’ experience within the insurance industry.
• Comfortable working independently with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative.
• Commercially minded with a proactive approach to sales and business development.
• Excellent customer service and relationship‑building skills.
• Organised, dependable and able to manage competing priorities effectively.
• Confident professional communication with customers, fluent in both Maltese and English.
