Azure Cloud Engineer – DevOps

About the role

Enteractive is seeking a hands‑on Cloud Engineer to design, operate, and continuously improve its Microsoft Azure platform. You will work closely with software engineering teams to ensure the cloud environment is reliable, secure, and optimized for rapid delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Build, configure, and maintain Azure infrastructure across production, staging, and development environments.
• Improve scalability, availability, performance, and reliability of the platform.
• Manage Azure services such as App Service, Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, networking, and identity.
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar).
• Automate provisioning and configuration using ARM Templates, Bicep or Terraform.
• Maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and visibility with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, deployment and performance issues.
• Implement cloud security best practices (RBAC, managed identities, Key Vault, network controls).
• Manage VNets, private endpoints, DNS, firewalls and routing.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and drive platform optimisation.
• Participate in incident response, root‑cause analysis and post‑incident improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure in a cloud engineering, infrastructure or DevOps role.
• Proven ability to deploy, configure and support Azure resources in production.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and proactive attitude.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with software engineers.
