Senior Software Developer - Hybrid

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join a leading FinTech company in Malta, building secure, scalable payment solutions. You will work across the full development lifecycle, influence architecture and mentor junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑performance payment platforms using C# and .NET technologies.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and modernise legacy systems.
• Implement micro‑services, REST APIs and integrate front‑end components with Angular or Blazor.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure security and scalability.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best engineering practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and passion for technical excellence.
