Azure & DevOps Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Azure & DevOps Cloud Engineer to join our Malta‑based team. This hands‑on position focuses on designing, deploying and operating secure and scalable Azure environments while collaborating closely with developers to enable efficient software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain Azure infrastructure across development, staging and production environments.
• Manage core Azure services such as App Services, Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking and Identity.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Automate infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep or ARM Templates).
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise performance and reliability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights and Log Analytics.
• Implement Azure security best practices including RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault and network security.
• Support incident response, conduct root‑cause analysis and drive continuous platform improvements.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure in a Cloud Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Systems Engineer or DevOps role.
• Strong knowledge of Azure infrastructure, networking and core services.
• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines and working with IaC tools.
• Experience monitoring and troubleshooting production Azure environments.
• Understanding of Azure security concepts and best practices.
